1) The bad experience started from the moment we were greeted by an empty reception to which the attendant came and gave us a room with twin beds (We specifically mentioned that we wanted a single bed) to which he replied that you booked twin beds and no other rooms are available. After arguing over it he gave us the option of another room but with extra charges of ₹600. We were furious to which thankfully Makemytrip helped us out and got the issue sorted and got us a room with a single bed.
2) Uncoordinated/ unaware staff- They didn’t know what is the hotel providing and they are offering things on their own. It is annoying to have order something and then receive a call regarding the same that the staff was unaware and we had to change orders.
A single person quilt on a queen sized bed- We requested the staff for a double quilt to which we got told that this is all we have. I had to go down to reception to get that sorted.
3) THE FOOD is the pathetic! No more to say here.
I would have really loved to have a word with the manager considering he was any better but then I dropped the idea of this idea of a hotel with such pathetic staff! Hope Patiala does better in the future.
