I wouldn’t recommend the hotstar app for anyone who is not a newbie and a person who does not know his way around the Internet, people might argue that you get the TV shows from local language channels belonging to the star network ; but you can also get the same in YouTube with better streaming and low ads better seeking capabilities.
Some people might say you get live sports programmes etc but you can also receive the same in YouTube and starsports.com etc.
They have some shows like Boston legal, sons of anarchy, the Russians etc but it gets streamed in low quality even on a 10mbps connection along with full page ads which is a big bummer and the organisation of shows in the app is haphazard and it does not look professional. I will stick to YouTube and other websites for now. Hotstar try being professional drop the full page ads improve streaming and add more shows, provide HD streaming for matches don’t stop at 480p and don’t emblazon your logo everywhere it is annoying.
