I had a very bad experience buying from Housefull JP Ngr store. I purchased a Child Bed by paying 100% in advance including Rs400 for delivery (for a 2Km range delivery). I booked a new product (display product was damaged) on OCT-16-2011, and I was issued an invoice with delivery date of NOV-25-2011. After several follow up calls, I have still not received the product. I have written to their customer grievance cell in Mumbai. No one reverted to my mail and worst no one picked up my call as well at their displayed phone # on their website https://housefull.co.in. The bottom like, be careful before paying advance for any product in advance as else you may end up repenting like me for non delivery of product on time.
Delayed delivery of goods/service impacting a customer can be treated under "unfair trade practise" under Consumer Protection Act. I have been now informed by local store manager that the goods will be delivered on 20th DEC. If I dont get this product on this verbally commited date, I do intend to invoke Citizens Charter and approach necessary authorities for redressal.
Havent used the product for correct rating but experience so far is so bad that I cannot rate anything more than average.
