Pathetic Customer service and intolerable response

For all those reading this complaint. I don’t suggest you buy anything from Houseful again and do not fall for their discount advt.


I purchased a Doreen TV unit on 2/10/2011, at that time, they said, it would take 7 days for the good to be delivered. Doubting that and due to the domestic need from my family, I went ahead and purchased it, in the delivery note, they mentioned the delivery date as 13/10/11.


Now, it is 19/10/11 today and still I did not have any clue about my purchase order, neither you get any update or response from Housefull furniture team in Hyd. When I call the store people who took my order, they asked me to call the warehouse guys, when I called them, they give standard response, No power in warehouse to look at the order and we will get back to you. And remember no one every gets back. very pathetic.


I have been trying to reach useless customer care mumbai based numbers and either those numbers don’t work or just keeps ringing on, no body picks up.


Having this torture for 2 days, I cancelled my meetings today afternoon and visited the store just to find out that due to some issue they have, they could not deliver till date and can deliver it only by 30/10/11, which is as customer to me is not at all acceptable.


So, I politely requested them to cancel my order and took a written note with signature to refund my amount by this sunday 23/11/2011.


If houseful furni, team is reading this, I feel very bad for this pathetic service you have in Hyd


We make are purchase for Durga puja festival and that delivery does not happen till after Diwali is nothing but a cheapest of all services you have.


Do you guys have any idea of what a customer is, I work in an environment, which treats customer as God, and look at you guys, pathetic.


Your stores/warehouses etc in Hyd is very very sub standard and untolerable for their responses to the customers. What ever problems you have with your transport/damaged pieces or delays is simply a$hit to me as a customer and I am not bothered about your problems.


I made sure, that this message is reached to many people to help them and if I do not get my refund by this sunday, I will take it to the consumer court.


It is not about the money, it is about the trust Housefull furniture broke with customers.


This is not at all acceptable as a customer and am sorry to say, I will never ever go/suggest Housefull furniture to anyone.
