Music has been a force of my life and I am a great fan of RD Burman, a trendsetter in Hindi filmdom.
About 12 years ago one book was published consisting all the compositions of RD throughout his career.The title was Pancham (nickname of RD) but I was not knowing the author of this book.
As a die hard fan I intended to have this book in my collection.But I was dissappointed to find that this book is out of print and not available in market.In order to get some more information I visited google but could not get expected result.But here I came across a link which lead me to MOUTHSHUT.COM
This was my first brush with the site which later become one of my favorite sites.
That link was of 20 best songs of RD.It was interesting to read choices of other RD fans.And besides music there were many different topics.Members used to write their experiences and reviews on various products/services.
This was pretty amazing!
One more significant aspect I observed here was the speed.MS was quite faster than some other sites I visited frequently.All these things lead me to think whether to join this site.There was a problem in becoming a member.First of all was I am not a good writer amd english writing is not my cup of tea.
But then I sensed that this is a challenge and apart from writing reviews there were some other features also.You ger a chance to know about producte their pros and cons.Ypu get a chance to meet some like minded people. So I took the plunge and became a member with user name m1510 ( I like short user names, easy to remember and less time to type. wonder why people use 20/25 letters user names)
20 best songs of RD was my very first review. If you read this you will be certainly disappointed as there are many mistakes and poor english.
But I think I am improving
