Deal body shaming with confidence and calmness

Body shaming can also be defined as giving or getting negative comments about ones physical appearance. Like if your pass inappropriate comments to a person on his or her physical frame this comes under body shaming and it leaves a negative affect on the victim. Unfortunately these days there are many victims  who face negative remarks on their physical  body structure; being over weight or oversize or being over skinny. The victim can be a female or a male even celebrities are often criticized for their looks and this is body shaming.  But the good thing is that if you have confidence and you know smart ways to deal with people you can deal the body shaming fact very easily.




  1. First of all dont underestimate yourself. You should accept your body and looks what you  have got naturally. If you will have confidence no one can criticize you. Self love and confidence is the mantra to deal with useless criticism.




  2. Figure out the real problem, every one wants to look attractive and you can also be one. Give time to yourself and avoid stress or negativity form body shaming. if you are fat its okay many people are like you and they are happy. You must give time to your exercise and fresh walks rather than thinking about other people who harass you.




  3. Body shaming can really make a person feel pathetic and awful, instead of sulking about your looks. Try to tell to others you know how to take care of your health and looks. Make clear to negative people that their unwanted advice is definitely not welcomed.




  4. Do not give importance to people who always make fun of you or who make you feel depress. Try to be with positive people and in good company. Remember good friends will always make you feel comfortable but not pitiful.




  5. Do not be very angry or stressful listening to people comments instead avoid them . But if you face same inappropriate statements from same person then confront and express clearly. Comments like you are too skinny or you are too fat or you should work on your body can make you feel bad. But no need to get hyper but you can speak straight to the offending person how his or her negative remakes can do harm to your personality.




  6. Be a support for people who are victims of body shaming. Tell them how to take such negative statements and how to be confident and happy for whatever they got. Being stressful or taking negative comments on your heart would make you week but if you are strong, smart and confident no one can ever bully you.






If you keep some major yet easy ways to tackle body shaming, you would see a positive and stronger you. There are many incidents where famous personalities have taken this issue very cleaverly.
