IT Education In India...

IT is Intelligent Technology today than just Information Technology. Are we up to the Standards of its horizon. There are several institutes offering IT education and training in India. But none of them including the majors like NIIT, Aptech or SSI is giving students the comprehensive skills required to meet the global standards, which is essential. More over there are institutes who just pop-up like mushrooms and come out with a Big Gang Bang in advertisements are definitely fly by night   Operators and vanishing as if they never existed, after collecting money from students and from franchisees.

To most of the students who is in the look out for a bright career in IT are really not aware of the course’s offered in the market and of the Technology trends. Even students go behind Brand Names at times. That should certainly be avoided.

Any one who ever is planning to go in a for a specialized training IT should consider few aspect before putting down your money.

a) Make a detailed study about the current and future trends in the market.

b) Make a conscious attempt to steer clear and be abstract about where & what do you want to be, since IT has several branches. i.e. Software Engineering, Web Driven Technologies, Hard ware , VLSI, Systems Analyst, Client & Server side programmers, Distributed Programming and Embedded Web Technologies etc.

c) Make sure whichever institute gives you the maximum skill development with in the shortest possible time, since technology is obsolent prone. Keep in pace with the technology.

d) Gather maximum information and master the subjects at your best at the earliest.

e) If you want to be in the “Internet” bandwagon then learn and specialize in Multimedia Applications too. f) Give importance to your affordability too.

g) Don’t be concerned much about where do you learn other than what do you learn. Most companies absorb, not by looking at the certificate and institution but at the skills.
