Andie Anderson is a journalist at Composure, the fastest running magazine on fashion and women. A woman who wants to write something that matters one of the topics she thrives for is politics, foreign affairs and environment .BUt..she has to prove to her boss first to get a opportunity to write of her own. And when her boss wants somebody to write a story on the life of michelle her friend who got dumped by her boyfriend, Andie grabs the opportunity to prove by deciding that she shall date a guy and do all the wrong thing women usually do in love and dump him in 10 days thus the topic ’’HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS’’
Ben works for a ad agency and bets to his boss and two co-workers that he can make any girl fall for him on account his boss will give him to manage a huge account. His co-workers who wanna him to lose and had met Andie on their visit to composure lead him to meet her. Ofcourse Andie and Ben both are unaware of each others agenda.
In the following days Andie does everything for Ben to dump her and Ben does all things to hang on to her till the day he gets the account and can run miles away from Andie.
The movie is pretty humorous, the conversation between the two, the things Andie does for him to dump her, like making him lose the ending of an interesting game, taking him to a concert at the time of a great game. The album she makes of him & her and thier family together in future. Embarrassing him in front of his friends.
And its very touchy to see the reaction of her when she visits Ben’s family during the weekend.
Well I personally feel as my opinion that the ending couldnt be more beautiful.
