POSITIVE THINKING:
This mantra(I call it a mantra!)can be a very powerful tool in combating anything in this world!. I’ll begin by narrating something which happened in front of my eyes.
Last year my dad was ill and he had to be hospitalized. Our family friends were all on their toes and specially my dads closest friend. This friend was a regular smoker but the day he saw my dad admitted he just threw the pack of cigarettes after coming out of the room. What we saw was a miracle, as he was constantly advised by close ones to quit smoking. So what struck him at that moment is you all can judge and let me tell you that till date he has not had a single one. He claims now he will never even need it ever in his life!.
What you just read is a case of very Positive thinking. Apart from this there are cases in our daily lives, who are surviving only by their will power. Remember it is your own personal life and why ruin it by inhailing deadly nicotine.
PRACTICAL WAYS TO QUIT SMOKING:
On the day you quit smoking, keep your self very very busy!.
Don’t smoke when you have the first craving. Wait for a few minutes, and during this time change your activity or talk to someone you love the most in this world.
Stop keeping cigrattes with you. Try to be in places where this deadly item is not available.
The first week or those few days after you quit smoking do things that you are interested in like your favourite hobby.
Keep low cal oral substitutes like fruits, salads handy.
INSPITE YOU ARE UNABLE TO QUIT TRY THESE FOLLOWING TIPS:
Switch to a low quality stuff
Smoke fewer cigrattes each day
Reduce your inhailing
ATLEAST REMEMBER THE 3 R’s:
Respect yourself(I am sure you will respect yourself much more after quitting!)
Respect everyone else(do I need to explain this.)
Responsible for all your actions(you’ll feel a more responsible individual after quitting!)
Doing this will help to reduce some dangers of smoking.
Remember there is no such thing as ’’safe smoking’’. The only ’’safe ’’is to quit.
The mantra - TRY, TRY TILL YOU SUCCEED. All the best.
