Hi guyz,
I am using this product from 2 days.i would like to say tha it is value for money product. I have not faced any problem, drivers are available on hp site.
Display is good(if possible go fr nvidia)
Processor is awsome
Touch pad is good
other pros
This is a pretty good laptop with modest hardware specs. I have been using it for about a month now and have installed both W10 and Ubuntu. Drivers for W10 are readily available from HP site. So far no problems with W10.
Drivers link for W10: [.]
Although latest Linux Kernel supports most hardware, it doesnt detect AMD graphics card and doesnt work well with Realtek Wifi adapter(facing reduced range problem).
I mostly use it for browsing, movies and casual gaming.
Processor - i5 6200U, dual core, doesnt heat up with moderate use
Battery - gives about 4 hours with moderate use(browsing, movies etc.)
Graphics Card: AMD r5 330, good one for casual gaming, but heats up a lot(bad)
Intel 520, seems to be very capable, almost as good as AMD one
Screen: 1920*1080(HD resolution)(best part of this laptop)
cons;
Keyboard: No Backlit Keyboard - very difficult to see the keys in dark
Position of keys are bit weird(up and down arrow keys are very small and difficult to use, home, end, pgup and pgdown keys are above the numeric keys - unconventional, difficult to access, no LED for num-lock key)
Power button: bit hard to press and had no indicator-light(so you wont even know if it worked or not)
Touchpad: placed bit more towards left, no clear cut edges to define the boundary of touchpad
suggation; If you are planning to install linux, dont buy it.
