I bought hp envy 14 3 months ago, this is one of the best laptops of hp I ever used.
I played far cry 4, gta5, assassin’s Creed syndicate, and many other heavy games and the 4gb gtx 950m nvdia gpu handles it well, I was able to play the games in moderate to high settings pretty easily, although the games started to lag in ultra settings for some games.
The finger print reader combined with hp simple pass is a breeze to use. Although it fails to register my fingerprint if the finger is not aligned perfectly to sensor.
I did not face any heating issue.
The keyboard is back-lit and has enough travel for satisfying typing experience.
Cons
Display
It has a full HD display but may be due to anti glare coating it looks a bit washed out. For day to day use its perfect, it’s just in gaming I see the difference.
Speakers
It has four speakers but still the sound is not that loud. Don’t take me in a wrong ways the quality is awesome but it’s not just that loud.
