I own a HP ab 522 TX notebook, performance wise this machine is best but many drawbacks like it has a Hitachi HDD.
Although Hitachi is more trust worthy than Western Digital(as some say) but it makes a lot of mechanical screeching noise which is quite noticeable when you are working in a quiet environment.
I suggest you to look the prices of the spare parts of these HP laptops. It’ll blow off your mind. A laptop screen will cost you close to 900$, that almost Rs 55000.
Over the longer run, you’ll not find the laptops economical. I’m using Hp ab522tx and I can say that I’m not too confident of their build. In case something goes wrong, HP is gonna rip off my bank account.
Further, customer care isn’t too good. They won’t reply to your mails if you don’t talk about money. The customer care executives aren’t very well trained and will also give you false information. I have been a victim!
So, think twice before putting your hands on HP.
