The HP Pavilion dm4 is a delight to own and use. With the i5 processor and a good additional graphics card (512 MB), its is quite easy to carry around as well with its all up weight close to just 2 kgs.
The USB ports (two), SATA, HDMI, VGA, LAN, headphones and mic make it quite versatile. The HP Truevision webcam is commendable and the two internal mics that are there are pretty effective. Wifi is fast and the fingerprint recognition beats Dell. Quickweb allows for almost instant start up - if you have a neighbor boasting about his Apple Macbook. Btw, it does come with cute little LED indicators too!
The LED monitor can get pretty bright if required and the angling of the keyboard is super.
The only negative point could be the comfort in using the keyboard - till you get used to it. There is no backlight, but then we cant ask for everything I guess! However, it does come with Home, pg up, pg dn and end keys - making life easier. Keyboard flex could be an issue - if you want it to last a long time, use an external keyboard at the workplace.
Definitely worth the money. Go for it!
