One of the worst services comes from HSBC.I have a smart home loan from HSBC.When I took the loan about 4 years back, till it materialised there wer 2 individuals who called and did all sugar coated talks .Later when I needed help on statements, pre-payment details etc, noone even responds.Either they have changed departments or dont pick up their cells.
One more thing abt HSBC is that you will never get any information on mail .In this day when theres time crunch, they never oblige.There can be 2 reasons, either they think that the data is as secure as NASA data and our statement may affect a country:) or its more likely reason that theres noone to send a response .There is an automatic reply that it would take 5 days for my query to be answered.Its always the same reply for everyone .HSBC- One of the worst banks ever! I request you to never think of this as an alternative .As our builder had just 4 banks, we had no gr8 choices.I have experience with other banks like sbi, andhra bank, but never had this problem of no reponse.Every HSBC call will have a list of things for verification and finally nothing .again just have to wait.
I am sick of the entire ordeal with my stress harmones shooting up, so I wish to close it and move to SBI due to the interest rates and the service.But now another story has commenced .HSBC is not sending me the foreclosure document despite verification which has happened 15 days back and the representative having promised me about posting it .Without that I cannot get my loan from sbi! So I keep my fingers crossed and am waiting .
