Account Opening guarantee
Opening an account with HSBC is an efficient and reliable service. When I opened an account with them I received my debit card and cheque book in four days, but they promise to deliver within five days.
You are given a Personal Identification Number for use with your debit card on cash machines.
Standing orders and direct debits will be set up to the best of their abilities. However I have had a problem with with a direct debit I set up with them a year ago. They cancelled it after a year meaning payments that were coming out of my account to companies could not go through. But this should be sorted soon!!! The good thing about HSBC is that they pay 10 pounds to you every time they make a mistake.
Other Services
Fee-Free Credit Card – MasterCard or Visa, the choice is yours!!!
The credit card allows you to buy goods or services throughout the world wherever you see the MasterCard or Visa signs. Using your Credit Card you can withdraw cash from cash machines or by visiting any major bank throughout the world in the UK or abroad
Protect your cards – you can protect your cards for a small fee. They will be protected for loss and loss of monies in the account up to a certain amount.
To Conclude
I would recommend this bank to anyone. Apparently they have an outstanding student account for university goers.
The services that they offer at HSBC are of an extremely high standard. Other banks services can be better, but I would rate this bank the best overall.
An Excellent bank, keep it up HSBC!!!
