I purchased the P3300 about a year back. I wanted a GPS PDA phone because I recently shifted to Mumbai and was not very much aware of the roads.
After spending some time over the net and looking at mobile stores, I found HTC P3000 meeting my requirements. Several of my know friends were already using HTC devices so I did not see any risk with the brand.
In terms of main features which I use :
It has GPS and mapking software which has maps of all metros in India. Only one map of a city is free. However, I quickly switched to google maps. This required an internet connection (GPRS) as the map gets loaded thru internet. This has been a great feature and has helped me navigate in Mumbai city. I have visited several malls and offices without any help from anyone. Along with the cell phone came a stand which I can use in my car which driving.
The other I use extensive is the email. No great features like blackberry, but it works and I am fine with it. It has windows mobile 6. So I am able to download software. Now coming to some negatives : It is slow. RAM is a constraint at times. I need to cleanup memory frequently. WM6 is fine but like any other windows, has bugs. Not too many but system hangs sometimes. Overall it works for me. I am looking forward to replacing it after about a year.
