Best 'non-sliding touch and type' budget mobile

I used the ’ChaCha’ from Aug 2012 to May 2013. And here is my history with it. Obviously like most others, my criteria for selection was touch and qwerty and that too non-sliding. This was the obvious budget choice. Bought it for 12k, bit late I must say, when the market was flooded with samsung smartphones. I fell in love with the curvy design, a USP of the mobile. And it fit in the shirt pocket perfect. I could not locate a cover for it, but then its good the way it is.

Typing was a joy on the mobile, effortless and firm. Keys well spaced. The touch screen, I felt, was a wee bit small; 1 inch bigger and chacha would have been ruling the market till now! The touch itself was correctly sensitive. But I must say Samsung and Sony have better UI than HTC. Image and video quality was always good, not excellent. Web browsing was good, but obviously pale compared to 5" smartphones. The speed itself was very decent.

Gaming experience ok for basic arcade games. My fingers are smaller and thicker than average, hence I found handling this mobile a very comfortable experience. Visibility in sunlight is also good. No problems as such. Only problem was the 128 MB memory, which was very less. There came a time, when I felt the craving for a full touch smartphone and that is when I moved on. **SUMMARY:** An excellent phone, true value for money, but outdated and dwarfed now by full touch smartphones and tabs.
