I bought a HTC Desire C phone last Saturday.I purchased it from E-Zone which is part of Pantaloons at South City Mall at Kolkata.It is an android smartphone and cost me Rs 10k.Last Sunday I found the phone screen filled with icons I did not need.Now HTC does not provide an instruction manual.So I called up HTC Customer Care Helpline and they helped me out.The lady also told me that I would get a welcome call and email from HTC.But a week later that is yet to materialise.But the HTC lady was polite.As far as the phone is concerned I guess its okay.
I use Vodafone 3G in my phone.Without it most of the features of HTC Desire C will not work.There is no keypad.Its a touchphone but the touch mechanism seems to be better than the Nokia touch phone C3-01 that I had purchased before.And that had cost me 8.5k. There are many apps present in my phone.There is a Google maps app.It has a pdf reader, a flash player too.There is a world weather app and a world clock app.There is Facebook, Google search, Gmail and other features.The sound could do with some improvement.The ringtones in the gallery are not particularly exciting.There is only one mundane wallpaper.I am still learning about the phone.I bought it only last Saturday.
All in all, I think its a good phone.The battery seems all right.
