I was looking for buying a new phone after using my XDA Pro for while. Since most Windows Mobiles are HTC phones I zeroed in on this model. Strangely this is a great phone but not advertised a lot. Its running on Windows Mobile 6.0 and has GPS, 3G, 3.2 Mp camera, Touch Flo etc. basically all features to make it future ready.
The main reason for the purchase of this phone was value for money. It gave me all features I wanted at a very reasonable price. Its not a phone for playing but serious usage. Push mail is cool. The best feature being the GPS. Recently was in a new city in India and the map worked so beautifully, didn’t have to ask directions to anyone. The 400mhz processor is fast enough to handle the tasks and the software seldom hangs. The camera is not great, but gives decent pictures.
After all I can always use my external camera. I am still waiting for 3G services to test its video calling capabilities. But over all I am very satisfied. A no nonsense phone at a no nonsense price.
