Huawei is known for making good smartphone in the world and it’s rank in 2 or 3 in the world. Huawei had launched its nee budget smartphone Honor 5X is a ver good phone with a very good price. Lets review this phone step by step.
Design: Full metal body looks stunning and feel premium while holding. Huawei honor 5x looks much more similar to honor 7 what was stand out is the price of both the phone( honor 7 is for?. 22999 and honor 5x is for?12999) . It is 8.1 mm thin and 181gm heavier approx. On the right side of the phone you get power and volume rocker, 3.5 mm headphone jack on thr top and Usb 2.0 and speakers grill on the bottom.
Display: 5.5 inch Full Hd display 1080 with ppi 401 looks great and good viewing angle. The display is very sharp and good colour reproduction. Corning gorilla 3 glass protection on the top of the which is reflective and finger print magnet 78% screen to body ratio approx. The only thing I didn’t like about the screen is quite big bazels. Overall the display is very good and very responsive.
Chipset: Snapdragon 616 octa core processor clock at 1.5+ 1.2 gzh with 2 gb ram with 405 Adreno and 16 gb inbuilt memory which is expandable to 128 gb. The only thing is missing in Snd 616 is quick charge in China company launched with snapdragon quick charge 3.0. However, the performance is very good between switching the app and multitasking.
Camera: I personally like huawei camera even in this company doesn’t disappointed me. 13 mp rear camera with dual led flash with 5 mp front facing snapper. The camera is very goid at this price details and over all colours levels look great. If you compare with the competitors like( k4 note and Mi 4i) camera perform much better here. 5 mp selfie snapper is good in day light and done a decent job in low light as well. Overall a very good camera at this price point keep it up huawei.
OS: Android 5.1 out of the box with EMUI 3.1 and company didn’t announced this will upgrade to Android 6, I hope it will upgrade to Android 6. Here company need to work to smooth their software experience its sluggish. Hope they will fix it in their nex update.
Bettery: 3000 Mah I know many companies providing same or much bigger bettery in this price point but seriously Honor 5X 3000 mah bettery is very good as compared to K4 note 3300 mah. Here company stand out 3000 mah will last you min for the day on the single charge. Other companies have look what huawei had done with their batteries to give a user last long for a day brilliant huawei.
Verdict: At the price point of? 12999 is a very good buy with such a beautiful looking, good performance and a great bettery life. People may think lenovo offers 3gb ram in price of? 11999 but friends to much ram doesn’t make the performance better its a combination of software and hardware how company merge this 2 thing and make a device.
