Honor 6X was hyped as camera phone. We had great anticipations for this device. I was so excited to see the device.
Design:
Honor 6X is built using aluminum alloy with nice curves. The dual camera on the backside gives great looks. The phone looks very premium
Display:
The phone is having 5.5 inch HD screen. In my opinion the display is very disappointing. The screen is dim and not vibrant. The viewing angles are also poor. Display of Honor 6X is just fine for web browsing, but not great for watching movies etc.
Camera; Dual primary camera(12 MP+2 MP) Secondary 8 MP;
The camera is the highlight of this phone. 12 MP camera is used to take pictures and 2 MP camera is for post photographic effects. In outdoor conditions the images taken are crisp and colors were great. In low light conditions, the details of the image drops. The purpose of the 2 MP camera is to focus on the objects in the foreground and blur the surroundings. The front camera produced great selfies.Primary and secondary camera can record 1080p videos.
Hardware:
6X is powered by Kirin 655 processor. The GPU is Mali-T830MP2. This phone is capable of running heavy games and do heavy multitasking. When I played nova 3 there was minor frame drops. What I like of this phone is that, the phone never heats up after long session gaming etc.
Ram and Memory:
The phone comes with 4 GB ram and 64 GB internal memory. Internal memory can be expanded to 256 GB(uses 2 SIM slot)
Battery Life:
The phone has 3340 mAh battery. We can get a full day battery back up. Please note that, the phone doesn’t support quick charging.
The finger print sensor is very fast and this sensor can be customized to do many other functions.
Sound reception is very good. The loud speakers are very loud.
OS and User Interface:
The phone is powered by Android marshmallow. The user interface is known as EUI. I could see many bloatware on the device.
Both SIM supports 4G.
Customer service is also good
In my opinion, better phones are available in this price segment.
