New market cracker from huawei!! detailed review..

[THE FOLLOWING REVIEW HAS BEEN POSTED AFTER USING HANDSET FOR 5 DAYS ONLY. I WILL POST ANOTGER REVIEW AFTER USING THIS FOR 3 MONTHS]

  1. Honor 8 Pro has 6 GB RAM with Kirin 960 Octa Core Processor. It is MORE THAN SUFFICIENT for daily usage and their is no HAG/LAG in HEAVY USAGE or doing MULTI TASKING.

  2. It comes with 128 GB Internal Memory for Rs.30, 000 which is better than of OnePlus 5. The design of the smartphone is REALLY AWESOME and is definitely BETTER than that of OnePlus 5.

  3. It has a 2K display( which is BETTER than Full HD Display) and a 5.7 inch CAPACITIVE display with 515 pixels per inch. VR EXPERIENCE is REALLY a charm on this device.

  4. It has DUAL CAMERAS which gives ENHANCED IMAGE QUALITY and BOKEH EFFECT. One sensor captures black and white photos and one normal photos and then, the images are transformed into one photo by the software.

  5. It has 4000 mAH battery which LASTS for about 1.5 days in NORMAL USAGE and 1 DAY in HEAVY USAGE. I have attached image in which I have shown the battery graph of the device.

  6. It supports Fast Charging, comes with latest Android 7.0 and has a 8MP SELFIE Camera which is GOOD but lacks behind when lightining around your face is LOW.

  7. Also, the box in which Honor 8 Pro comes can be used as an VR HEADSET! It has cut out for nose and is pre equipped with two lenses. It will give you an BASIC VR EXPERIENCE. You will have to buy a VR HEADSET if you REALLY want to enjoy VR.

BAD POINTS OF Honor 8 Pro:

  1. The finger print sensor is not VERY FAST, maybe because of some bugs in the software, but it can be resolved, if Honor wants!

  2. I LOVE STOCK ANDROID. Therefore, anything other than it is not GOOD for ME. But, it can be CUSTOMIZED so it ain’t much of a problem though, and not a DEAL BREAKER in any ways, but thought of mentioning it.

FINAL VERDICT:

-] Overall, at an aggressive price-point of Rs. 30, 000, Honor has really stolen the limelight from OnePlus 5 this time. The smartphone is a great overall package and is GREAT for photography enthusiasts.

-] To conclude, the Honor 8 Pro is probably one of the best Honor devices so far. The device looks premium and distinctive enough for a mid-premium smartphone. The QHD display is CRISPY, CLEAR and HAS GREAT COLOR CONTRAST. The dual-camera setup works well and the EMUI 5.1 has been improved from its earlier version with some new features. Overall, the smartphone has all the ingredients to give the flagship killer a run for its money. Thus, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to buy this device.
