The Huawei P9 is the latest addition to the camera centric phones in Indian market, and also to the phones offering dual cameras. When it comes to the highlight of this phone, the camera tops the list as the rest of the hardware seems pretty average for the price it comes for.
The Huawei P9 shows that Huawei is ready to take on the other Tier 1 companies head on. It comes with a great design, a competitive set of features and an innovative approach to cameras. While it does come with an average display, other specs like the Kirin 955 octa-core processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 3 GB RAM, the dual 12 MP cameras developed with Leica and dual SIM support work in favour of the Huawei P9. But at Rs. 39, 999 it may fall out of the favorite list of many Indian consumers, as Huawei has been absent from the market from quite some time now.
Huawei P9 has a thin & lighweight premium looking design, good camera, 5.2 inch display, FHD resolution, good processor, enough RAM and storage, nice battery, Fingerprint sensor and 4G VoLTE support. On the downside it does not have a dedicated microSD slot plus the battery is also non removable. The price is fixed at Rs. 39, 999 that is a little high than our expectations. Overall the phone has good specs with a unique camera setup, but still, it would have been more worth, if it was priced a little less.
