Bobby Amisha last time paired in Humraaz. Now Hum Ko Tum Se Pyar Hai arrives and music released this week. Anand Raj Anand composed the music and Dev Kohli takes care of the lyrics department. Anand Raj Anand is going through tough patch of his career. His last goodie which I considers is Kaante, after that he has given some good songs in Musafir but overall not very hot. Dev Kohli is at best when it comes to Punjabi tracks but in Hindi he lacks that greatness.

Hum Ko Tumse Pyaar Hai

Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik & Anand Raj Anand

Title track always fascinates as composers work more on it as mostly it become the first in promos and it become the identity of the movie. ARA tries to attempt old fashioned tune and with the use of olden instruments arose a feeling that the song was composed 10 years back. Kumar Sanu appears in his full form of Nasal singing in this song. Alka doing well and ARA add as a helping verb in the sentence. Overall a below average track.

Hum Ko Tumse Pyaar Hai-Sad

Kumar Sanu

This version is also present in the album as the olden days come back. I would say it a stone age track as the song lyrics are like those. Kumar Sanu is an expert in these kinds of songs. ARA tries to cook a Kichadi and it isn’t well cooked or not of mine taste. Avoidable song.

Chori Se Dil Ko

Kumar Sanu

Dekha Tujhe Maine Jab Se Dil Main Bas Ek Naam Hai Jane Jaan Jane Tamanna Tu Meri Gulfaam Hai. Clear inspiration from the song of Agnisakshi. ARA only rearranged the song and gets the results. Kumar Sanu this time too nasal user. Overall the song is nice not too bad. as the inspiration behind was fine so this proves to be a decent romantic number.

Kaise Tumhe

Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik

Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat. No this time its not an inspiration but the song is from this category. Udit is as always pleasant and Alka maturing her qualities. An average track with plain music no harm to the new way s of music again. But one thing is the song continues the rhythm of the album. overall a pure average track. Another version of the same track is also present with Udit as solo. Slight change in beats but not new ones to have variety ARA added Rajhistani music in it. Seems to be a situational number.

Bajne Lage Hain

Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik

ARA not tries different in this track too to maintain the album or he was having any anger on the Producer of the movie. He has given the low profiled tune which may only be effective if people lose their memories and forget the songs produced in late 80s. Then only one can enjoy the song. Otherwise not listenable.

Ye Mehandi Ke Boote

Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik & Babul Supriyo

This song confirms that ARA was not in good mood while making the music or he wanted to use all his rejected tunes ever produced. If he would have tried to add some trendy music may be the song got some favour from my side but it just fails and this time again the song continues the pulse of the album and disappoints clearly.

Dhola Aayo Re

Sukhwinder Singh & Sapna Awasthi

Thanks God some thing to Cheer in the album and that is Dhola. Sukhwinder being composer himself knows that what is the good tune and what is the bad tune. So he almost always picks superb ones. This time an above average track, But from the album’s point of view this is the golden number and the best track of the album.

Tere Ishq Mein Pagal

Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik & Sapna Awasthi

Bad form continues for ARA and this disappointing track closes the album. Udit seems to be a familiar fellow as he sings the wordings and Sapna Awasti gives a repetitive sort of feeling, whereas Alka after singing a lot for Nadeem Shravan cant able to get out of that frame of mind. A simple plain tune almost boring and disappointing stuff.

Somewhere on Mouthshut I said that Vikram Bhatt is having a bad music selection and here I repeat my statement he is not having music sense even. He picked some worst songs for his movie or relied on ARA more who gave him all his unused flop tunes and finally providing us this poor soundtrack.

If you are a music lover and don’t want to miss any single album released in the market then my suggestion is that this album wont make any harm if you don’t buy it. Have some burger and eat it with a Cold Drink and avoid this sluggish effort.

Thankz
