The best comedy after Tu Tu Main main

Those days when it was first aired and I was in my 8th Std I used to wait for every Tuesday. It was aired at 8:00 pm. For almost 5 years, it was the best comedy serial at that time. The show stealer was Anand Mathur’s facial expressions. Of course who can forget each of his family members.

Priya Tendulkar’s dialogues, Kajol’s goonda gardi, Sweety’s IQ questions - Oh.my god list is endless.

I can’t pick up what is worse.Everything was best! Actors, Acting, Production, Direction, Dialogues, Costumes, Make up.u name it.Everything is excellent

The new version was too stupid. Good it went off air. Even today I watch episodes on rajshri.com

Some of the best episodes I recollect - Meenakshi marriage, Calling the spirits, Gifting parents after fighting over Diwali bonus, Time machine episode, Stealing Mangoes episode, Hiring servant episode, Beauty contest episode, Anand Mathur wrestling contest, Anand Mathur working as a servant, Meenakshi second marriage attempt, Sakkubai episode, Chasing the Bhoot in the society, episode on maintaining cleanliness on road, teaching a woman’s in-laws a lesson for dowry, the coming of sisters of Anand and Bina at home, the in-laws of Anand and Bina staying at home.and so on

Some episodes really had a very nice meaning and moral messages. Some even brought tears to my eyes and some were so hilarious that I could not sit properly and continuously jumping everywhere.

I used to imagine how Mumbai’s local trains could have been(I never have visited Mumbai as of today) whenever Anand Mathur used to mention it.

Kajol’s acting was a breakthorugh. The character and the way she portrayed must be given bold applause.

Ashok Saraf, Priya Tendulkar, Shoma Anand, - were constant and so was Kajol dada. Everyone else was taking a break or replaced by some one.
