Tear jerker !

Another one of those polished typical tear jerkers with some laughs thrown in for good light hearted moments to relieve the pent up emotions.

Madhuri Dixit has started to show her age and the sooner she wakes up to reality the better.

Aishwarya is the inevitable showpiece on the mantle who is being thoroughly photographed and recorded in ever perfecting details from every concievable angle an aspiring cameraman can think of and she never fails to impress with her God given perfect ( too perfect ) looks and those demure coy looks and those locks she smartly flips for extra impact.

Shahrukh khan is the always hard working perfectionist who tries and puts his all into giving his role and his work all the justice he can muster at that moment.

Its all about a possesive husband who is overtly too suspicious and eventually dumps his faithfull wife down the line only to repent and lament his decision later. It takes the chirpy Aishwarya to make him realise his folly and rue he does effectively.

Salman khan has surprisingly played his role without seeming obtrusive (unlike his nature) and gives us some light moments.

Women are sure to like the plot and all in all a typical Hindi movie with all the frills and buntings.

Colourful and on the whole a passable fare compared to some of the crap that has been dished out in the past few months.

I am looking forward to ’Devdas’ and to a certain extent ’Danger’ which has one of our most promising actors Rana who can really compare with the likes of OmPuri, Amol Palekar and Naseeruddin Shah. Although Amir Khan takes he cake when it comes to delivering the punch.
