uparwala soch samazkar jodiyan banata hai.
Kya tum muze ek baar us nazar se dekh sakte ho, jis nazar se tu usko dekh rahi thi.
yeh ittefaq hi to hai jo hum baar baar ek dusare se takarate hai.
GOD. for how many more million years will we hear these lines in our movies?
content wise, script wise, etc. theres nothing new this movie has got to offer.
however, such stories have occasionaly been more bearable in the past, due to the striking chemistry amongst the characters and some crisp editing. Unfortunately, theres no such saving grace in this lame lifeless experience Mr. Kanwar(director) puts you through.
Akshay Kumar does what a bollywood hero has been doing since time immemorial.
He accidently keeps bumping into the same beautiful girl more than once.
He falls in love with her on picturesque phoren locations.
He imparts endless crap about ittefaq, destiny, relationships, etc.
He rescues her from muggers, walks her to her residence, offers her his jacket in the cold, offers her coffee and spare clothes in the rain, etc.
He gets stuck with the heroine in a car overnight.( and yes, is on the verge of kissing her, but doesnt.)
He breaks into a song sequence at regular intervals.
He walks out chivalrously, on the arrival of her original fiance.
He (coincidently) walks into her wedding, and sings and dances there too.
He rescues her from a fire, and returns her to her owner, oops, husband.
Katrina does what a heroine has been doing for eons.
Anil kapoor looks old enough to be her father. and tries hard to look twenty yrs younger, sporting a clownish hairdo, but fails miserably.
Bipasha appears in what could be tagged off as a guest appearance.
Rest of the cast is not worth a mention.
writing about story, screenplay or direction wud b a waste.
music is passable. (thankfully himesh reshammiya does not appear in the movie). Editor for this movie does not exist.
overall, a very avoidable movie
Go watch a bhojpuri film instead.
