When one sees a nice fireworks show, that is impressive in the beginning, it is normal to expect a grand finalé. Well, that precisely describes Humraaz.
There are many Bollywood movies where stories start with a bang and, sadly, it is at the end that the momentum is somewhere lost. Well, without revealing the ending, let me forewarn you (in case you have not watched it yet), not to expect a good one. It simply fizzles out with the routine dishum dishum of Bollywood. period.
I would say, watch this movie if you have nothing better to do, and while watching it, don’t expect too much. That’s the best way to enjoy this one.
The music is good and some songs are actually pleasant to hear.
Both Akshay Khanna and Bobby Deol have acted very well. Akshay’s acting is simply out of this world. Amisha hasn’t acted in a somewhat similar way, but her acting was ’’alien’’. It was as though she was not there in the movie at all.
She is just present to ’’show’’ her presence, which she does very well in some scenes :-) Pun intended.
