Recent lathi charges on student federations and histronic lathi charge on the fishers of Vishaka port, might have pinched them in their hearts. I am representing several untold voices of Andhra Pradesh. These days, Andhra police have been using lathi at their fullest. Be it a small protest or a strike, A.P Police are ready to bash and beat the mob black and blue.
Some times, it happens to question ourself whether we are living in a liberal state. It seems that our freedom is at stake.
My open word to Andhra Police:
Please once again review your responsibilities and duties. Keep a check on your emotions.Practise meditation daily. Try beating on your family member’s back, before you do it to the public. You are the protectors of the law; not try to be the law breakers.
And the last word is be protectors of the society-not predators. There is a evil list of deeds, to which we, the innocent public are the scape goats (taking bribes or ’haptha’ from public is your default quality, whether you take air or not).
