This is the best looking hatchback in India with the best interiors. This car is very good for show off or if you have driver and you sit in the rear seat.
The problem with this car is that you wont enjoy driving it at all. The handling is very poor, the steering is very light ( even at high speeds) , the engine is not at all powerful. Also at such high price you do not get EBD, BA or ESP. Hyundai should think about safety and pricing in its cars below 10 lacs. Elite i20 is not for people who enjoy driving.I have gone through a very bad experience with this car since I purchased it. Look and features wise, it is O.K. but ground clearance is very poor, especially in hill areas. Engine performance is not that much goods as company claims, because at the time of overtaking, if we had to slow it down and in case of not able to overtake, the pick-up is very poor. I had to bring it down from 5th or 6th gear to 3rd gear to boost-up. Similarly, the engine performance is too bad while driving on the hill area. In 2nd year of its purchase, its brake oil found leaked and the agency had to change a part. Within a period of two year, its luggage door lock stopped working and the agency had to change the same. Keeping in view its mechanical weaknesses, I had to arrange extended warranty but that is also not at all useful. After a period of 2 years and 4 months, I faced a severe problem in it.
