A colleague recently got a new I20 diesel top spec with the 2 airbags and 4 disc brakes, ABS with EBD etc. It also has DRLs which apparently are copied from Aud.
While DRL’s per se, maybe more useful in cold and dark conditions which are not so common here, I think they are a’nice to have’ but not really a’must have’ in India. Here, somehow, they come across as a bit’gimmicky’.
