Please Do not Buy any Hyundai Product, better go For Maruti. Maruti has a market share of 40% whereas Hyundai is @ 16%.
My Eon gives only 12 kmpl mileage even after 3700 kms. Its complete waste of Money.
The only Plus point is its look, but it ends with that only.
The Service is worst. I was thinking that Only I have faced this kind of situation rather one of my relative also faced similar situation.
The Gear shift is very hard. You will feel the difference if You Testdrive a Maruti Alto or any other model. Alto will sure shot give you amaizing 20+ mileage.
The Service of Maruti is the Best in the Industry.
Hyundai EON AC has very bad cooling effect, moreover the Pick up reduces Extremely when You ON the AC. In AC On, it gives mileage of only 10kmpl. If you are lucky, then you may get 15 mileage, better go to maruti.
In the Price of Hyundai Eon, You can get a more safe Maruti Alto 800 with "Air Bag", so don’t go with Look. rather see how it performs on Road.
Hyundai has quite bad resell value w.r.t. maruti. I will strongly reccomend Alto instaed of Hyundai. I had done a great mistake by chosing this Petrol Drinking machine.

Following are the Details of My car :
VIN Number : MALA251ALDM186327.
Date of Purchase : 10th June 2013.
Dealer : Utkal Hyundai. (Nakhara), Orissa.
Mob: 9337273963/9337350366. My 1st Experience with Hyundai is the WORST. You guys are playing Dirty Games with Customers. 10th June 2013 was the Worst day for me, I don’t know why I changed my mind from Maruti WagonR to this Nonsense Hyundai Eon just for look. This is perhaps the biggest mistake I had ever done in my Life Till Date.
I Purchased the so called Car without Registration Number even after 45 Days from your Bhubaneswar Dealer "Utkal Hyundai". The Sales executive including the manager are just Doing no Real work for the customer. Once You pay the Money they will forget You. Their commitment restricted to the DAY OF PURCHASE only. Because after that their commitment get transformed into Plea. How?? Let me Clarify this, so that NO other innocent customer will be get cheated by these f*&# executives/company.
1) I asked them to Provide me Rs.3000 off as per the current Offer (for those who have two wheeler in their name). They told me that "Definitely, we will Provide You the offer". As I had not taken my 2-wheeler RTO paper on the day of Purchase, so they told me that "No Problem sir, whenever You bring the RTO Paper We will refund You the Money". But after 2-3 days when I asked for the Offer they Not only Denied me but tried to misguide me by saying that
"The accessories we Provided with Your Car, that costs more than this offer !!". What the hell are You talking. This is Totally Fraud activity. How a Branded Company like Hyundai can Do this kind of cheap things. When I inquired from my colleague about this issue (who is having a Hyundai Santro), he told me that "**Hyundai is the Worst Reputation in terms of Service !!
Why You buy from them instead of Maruti.."**. This statement clearly states that Hyundai is Not only a Cheater but a Fraud Company and thats why They are not even come near to Maruti. I have a maruti 800 since 8 years, till date No service issue, but these Hyundai guys are Frauds. They should be banned from India.
2) When I asked them to register my car in my City i.e. Cuttack RTO, which is hardly 20 kms away from Bhubaneswar. They told me that for that You have to pay EXTRA Rs.500. Though these things never happen in any Car Dealer other than Hyundai, still I gave them Rs.500. But after one month they started their old Dirty Games with me. They told me that,
BY MISTAKE one of their executive deposited the Car documents in Bhubaneswar RTO. What the Hell are You doing. Is this Your Responsibility? And how can you do this kind of fraud things after taking money (which is unethical) from a Customer. This is ridiculous !! Hyundai is Cheating its customers in Every Possible ways. Why a customer will suffer for your irresponsibility!! Its horrible!!
3) After this, a Hyundai Executive call us for RATING... We simply told the story, the dirty game they played with us. and told them that Your service is Extremely Poor and pathetic. Now Today even after 45 days, there is NO call back from their End.
One of my friend purchased a WagonR few days after my Purchase and Now he had already got his Registration No., but these inefficient guys still unable to resolve my issue.
One more thing, I am not Going to Suffer for Your irresponsibility. I want my vehicle to be registered on Cuttack RTO. And also Refund my Offer money at the earliest. My Final word: either You take immediate and necessary action against such Fraud activity or I have to Go for Consumer Court.
