Hyundai Getz Prime

*Bought my 2nd car - Hyundai Getz Prime 1.1 GVS - in Aug’07 from Deep Hyundai, New Delhi.

Which cars I considered?

- Mid size: Wagon R VXi / LPG Duo, Santro XO

• Hatchbacks - Getz Prime 1.1 GVS, Swift Vxi, Chevy UVA

Why I opted for Getz?

1. Dint have any waiting period(Swift had 30 days waiting period)

2. Product Attributes where Getz stood out from others

    - Looks / Comfortable seats / interiors / Space usage / boot space / collapsable steering

• Definitely the GEAR SHIFT - its heavenly. Even some of my Swift owner friends acknowledged

Apprehension I had before buying

- Fuel consumption - Previous experience of a 1.3 version dint leave a good impression on my mind

• No. of Getz visible on road Vs. No. of Swift visible on road(WAS I MAKING A MISTAKE?)

• Hyundai maintenance costs and dealer network

After 8000 KMs - What I discovered?

- Averaging 13-14 kms(with AC) in city ride(remember, I stay in West Delhi and travel 25kms each day to South Delhi for work)

• I DID NOT MAKE A MISTAKE

• Deep Hyundai was a horrible experience

In a nutshell:

• I am a proud owner of Getz prime

• I will definitely recommend to buy it

• However, Dealer selection should be of paramount importance. it can make or break your decision to buy a Hyundai
