The cabin space is increased in the new i10.The Boot capacity is also increased.The new car is fuel efficient practical diesel peppy petrol.It has smooth gearbox too.It is loaded with new features which include key less starton the go, electric folding OROMS rear air con cooled glovebox etc.The ride quality is very comfortable and it is predictable handling.No bumpiness Hyundai fursfree ownership experience.It has excellent affter sales service.The thing I really like that hyundai priced it lower than its cheif competitor the maruti swift which is also a very good car.
You wont like: - 1.1 diesel lacks the top end punch of competition.The car has ordinary highway performance.Climate control is missing in the car, adjustable front neck restraints and dead pedal.
The swift and brio are more fun to drive.Grand i10s steering & dynamics arnt to an enthasiast & tastes.Rear deffoger ABS Airbags only an asta trim level.Should have been optional with the middle varrient More suited as a seater, rather than S.
I must say that the automatic transmission is still some time away from launch.
The Ist gen i10 was launched in India in the year 2007 Despite a petrol only engine range.it accomplished a monthly sales average of 8000 over last 12 months.Whats more, the i10 has consistency ranked in the top 10 best sellers chart 6 years since the time of launch there isnt a doubt that the old i10 is still a conpetent city Hatchback.
This is the second generation i10.India gets it before.Europe just like the Ist gen which had its worls premiere here.Not Suprising as india is the most important market for this car.There have been some india -Specific changes as wel.For starters, the length increases by 100mm as does the wheelbas by 40 mm.The rear window & Door are bigger than on the euro version too.The C Piller is different and a rear air - conditioner has been added to the kit.Internationly the grand i10 replaces the Ist gen.However hyundai India intends to sell both side by side here.The compact car segment accounts for 70% of the market no wonder that maruti & hyundai deploy a similiar approach to guarding their turf by offering multiple patchbacks within a narrow price band, product overlap not with standing.Maruti has I hatchBacks on sale in India and The grand in hyundai 5th going forword I do think that the older i10 will be placed a notch lower and placed a notch lower and have the 1.1 l IRDE petrol as its only engine option.
Merely a couple of thousand rupees seprate the old & new i10 .this is really no thing in terms of course the ex showroon.prices Dont account for dealer discounts on the older car, get the difference remains small as things stand to day, there is no reason to by the old i10 over the bew, thw grand ia a huge step forwrd and is worth every rupee of the SSS difference.Price less than swift.So this is a good wagon.
