When it launched last month, I liked it very much. The styling is very attractive (at least to me) and the fluid theme is there. But I have not got an opportunity to test drive it. Fortunately one of my relative got the delivery of grand i10 few days back and I jumped upon him to have a feel of it. Last Sunday I went to his place and we 2 went out. His grand i10 is the diesel one. The pickup is good, handling is very good. It feels whatever you do, the car is alays under ur control.
Once we were on the highway with high speed (i crossed 140km/h), it shows no nerve. The driving experience is best in hatchback. The ac is super efficient with separate rear ac vents. Interior quality is best in class I must say with music system, Bluetooth, more leg room, more boot space. Most of all the safety features are compliant to European standard. So you can guess how much attention Hyundai has given to this car. Mileage is very good on highway (couldn’t measure in city traffic), but I think city mileage will also be good. I would say it is better than maruti Swift and almost at per with its own sibling i20. You can’t find anything better on any aspect in other hatchback in India. Overall I will give it 9.5 out of 10.
