I bought this vehicle in 2012 and almost more than a year. Vehicle is good, smooth and very good mileage. However I went for Sportz edition due to extra cost of another Rs50K for Asta. However, I feel one should go for Asta for ABS and additional Air Bags. Strange in Sportz edition they have given airbag only for Driver and not for front passenger. Did not get the logic.
Now coming to the negative points. Requires continuous gear changes for any variation in speed, especially in city driving this becomes a pain. Next the suspension is too soft and hence the body roll is very high. You will dance in the seat in the pathetic roads of the so called IT capital of India ie Bangalore.
Also received faulty keys, but the service center tricked us and made me pay for it, saying that we might have tampered while fitting the cells. So I concluded that the Koreans can’t match the quality of the Japanese or the Germans. So please check your car thoroughly before taking the ownership.
Overall a good vehicle, but because of the bad experience with the reliability and ride quality, my next car will not be a Hyundai.
I heard Honda is coming up with diesel version of Jazz and City. So surely would like to go for them and also advice the same to others.
