This article for those people who have already bought Hyundai i20 or intending to buy the same.
I bought Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2L petrol in Mar 2009, infact I waited for 6 months for this car launch and finally I bought after total 9 months’s wait.
Everything looks good, rich features and comfortable ride, but there is something which you can call it as technical snag/bug in this car. I am not sure that anybody has experienced in or not. if not then you must try this.
Let’s say you are standing on red light with your engine off but ignition in on condition(Please make sure you don’t not turn it off ), I mean you are still enjoying your music and cold air blow of your AC as it was just stopped few seconds back, now after the wait 60-180 seconds, you turned the engine on and to your surprise, by this time your steering would be hard for next 10-12 seconds before it can gain the power, now you can imagine if you have to turn right and there are atleast 100 vehicles behind you & honking and you are finding it difficult to turn. this happens every time I have complained to everybody but they say it is feature of ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING.
