My Review is more about the dealer (in this case HMP - Mumbai, Near Phoenix Mills).
I am putting this review up basically for those who have decided to buy a i20. Please donot book your car with HMP - Mumbai, Near Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel. I had a bitter experience. My husband booked the car on Sep 10, 2009 as he wanted to give it as a gift for my B’day on October 12, 2009. We were told that the car would be ready for delivery by October 10th.
They told us that once the allotment is done from the factory they would inform us and after that the car is ready with registration etc. within a week. We went on following up but no sign for the delivery on October 10th. Our sales person was Mr. Milind. He was absolutely useless. Didn’t even know how to talk properly. I got in touch with his boss Mr. Roshan but even he could not help. He even told us that you can take your booking amount back. Later got another senior person Mr. Joseph Fernandes’s no. everyday we used to follow up. The main this is that they used to rarely return / take our call.
They would say we will call back but that call would never come. Finally my husband got frustrated on October 25th and we went to the showroom. Mr. Milind still had the same attitude..Sir we don’t know when can we deliver the car. Finally after some unpleastness we cancelled our booking. They would hopefully refund our booking amount soon. We have now placed the order with Jayabharat Hyundai, Prabhadevi and they have promised delivery within 30 to 45 days.
Hopefully someone in HYUNDAI reads this and ensures that they donot give false promises.
I am eagerly waiting for my car........its a long wait
