Well, it has been a Year and a half driving this beautiful little car and overall a very happy and impressive experience.
I bought Santro LS in Apr’2003, then I was a BIG ’L’ board struggling in the busy roads of bangalore. I feel the power steering is pretty good to zip through this traffic, I have been using POWER (from HP) as the fuel for my car and it made a big difference for the engine, my friends who have driven my car say it is much smoother than their Santro & I do get a mileage of 15-17 Kms in the city.
’POWER’ (BPC) or ’Xtra Premium’ (IOC) are also good alternatives.
I strongly suggest using these High Octane gas for your Cars, It’s my own experience.
Other notable features I like about Santro are, the seating, Power Steering, It’s powerful and silent engine.
Sometimes I hold the gear liver to check if the engine is running or not ;)
I feel very comfortable to take reverse or take sharp turns , the drive in the Ghat never makes you tired in a Santro.Even the breaking system is pretty good and gives good control.
Overall a good car at a reasonable price with most of the luxuries of the big cars.
