First of all, let me admit, I m not going to write a review as big as the car. I’ll write only about the extra things.
When it came to buying a car, looking at our budget and taste we shortlisted:
Wagon R, Swift, Esteem, Santro, Indica and Indigo
Esteem and Indigo went down the drain due to their length as it was our first car and pa din’t know how to drive. Indica is simply yuck and looks like some ALIEN FROG. Swift had a too long 3 months waiting list and the car was an urgency.
Wagon R and Santro were the last in comptt. Wagon R Vxi is of no match to Santro XO both being the top models in the following aspects:-
Rear wash and wipe is available in santro XO ( it isn’t available even in Audi, continental, mercedes, porsche too) :-D
Both have the option of safety bags and it is less known about Santro
All four power windows in santro as compared to only two in Wagon R.
The looks, Wagon R means <Wagon in Reality> It looks really bad and just like mini Versa.
The interiors of Santro are simply awesome as compared to the plasticky interiors of the wagon
Free gear lock with santro
We also bargained for a free MP3 player and guess what we got it
Headlams and rearlamps are simply awesome
Dashboard and meter are beautiful
Ride quality is just lovable. It feels like u are driving the car instead of the way around.
Wagon’s pedals are really odd.
The average of wagon R is only one kmpl more in city whereas santro’s mileage is one kmpl more on highways
