While the ideas and things that the program comes up with are what we would all like to have a better understanding of, the details given during the show and the way it is presented is silly.
Especially, why do they have to bring on those jokers - "industrial scientists"! If the viewer wants to watch buffonery, he will watch another suitable program. For more serious viewers, I recommend Discovery Science - certainly not "Mythbusters", which is stupider than "I didn’t know that".
A more informative approach rather than just smashing things up or jumping around will appeal more to someone who really wants to know about things.
