I hate Luv Storys : its totally filmy
Sometime love stories are emotional, sometime idiot one… Sometime they make us feel they are as if part of our life, sometime we term them as “filmy only”… Whoever whatever say, thousands of love stories are written daily and other thousands get vanishes before they are exposed to the world. These inexpressible philosophies related to love brings people and their humanity to the next level, and sometime they becomes the reason of disaster of their life. So because of all these, Some Love love stories, and some hate it. But with the span of time, people do interchange their feelings, people to change the way of they live too… Among this crowd, I am also the one who loves love stories and I went to watch this movie…
Plot-
“I hate luv storys” was fourth movie as first day first show in year 2010. I was surprised to see 90% of seats occupied in cinemax ghatkopar. Movie started with Simran (Sonam kapoor) and Jai (Imran Khan) expressing their individual feelings on love and love stories. Jai although works with a famous director Veer (Veer is loved by people for his love story movies) Jai feels love and love stories occur only on movies and they are sickness to our time. On the other hand Simran loves love stories and She is fully oxidized by this chapter. Her life again looks like a filmy plot where she has found her perfect partner in form of Raj who works on Bank.
Jai and Simran meet each other for the first time inside a theatre. Later Simran works in Veer’s office where Jai is appointed as Simran’s junior. With some coldness in their relation, they find close to each other as a very good friend with a memorable moment spent between them. Their friendship makes them both of them realize that their definition for love were never perfect. Then the story goes ahead with the similar story that bollywood movies are mostly screened.
Movie at glance-
This Movie has lots of comedy scene which are enough to produce laugh among audience, but some jokes look really insensible and non-existing. Story goes ahead comparing with movie’s story itself, and looks filmy in most of the time. Filmy dialogues and Filmy incident being added to movie on every alternate minute looks completely boring. There is never a peak or maximum excitement attained by the movie which is unique to watch out. The story keeps on following Jai and Simran every time. There is hardly even a minute where story is diverted to any other topic. So this unsatisfied script is one of the worst parts of the movie. Music somewhere looks like going better, but background music in most of the time is again like direct copy paste of few bollywood love story hits. Few New Zealand scenarios on second half are awesome, but again movie can never be worth just by its background scenario.
Conclusion
Imran Khan in the movie has played the role of extra-ordiniary guy who never stops flirting, and he has done a very well job, his acting are worth of watching and as a lead role of movie, he was a perfect guy for this movie though a better script could have made a bigger positive mark on his career. Sonam kapoor is totally in a new role as compared to her last two movie. As a modern city girl, she is perfect with her beauty, and she has again done her best here.. Simran’s perfect partner Raj role’s in a simple guy looks a true reflection of few youth who loves their love so much with all their heart, but again they get lots of problem in their relation
.
All Other actors have also done their job effectively but still 135 mins of I hate luv storys looked too boring on some incident. Music, dance and Direction might have worked to some extent but a better script lacks here. With a positive mind set of watching this movie is one time watchable, but my warning to all of you, I hate love storys is totally filmy….
My rating- 2.5 out of 5
Recommendation- yes but with no expectation please as there is not so unique to watch.....
