I bought imate PDAL in exchange of my SE K750i. specs of this phone look impressive but when it comes to _real_ life most of them are not upto mark
Sound reception : Pathetic !! there is some kind of echo and voice drop in between calls.
PDA functions: are ok, but not upto mark. many times it slows down for normal operations like opening word files etc.
Connectivity : I was not able to use my bluetooth gps with this phone, dont know why it was not getting detected. and wifi connectivity is also bad. signals drop frequently.
for USB connectivity its not detected as mass storage device so u need to install complete PC suite to make it work. and there is no IRDA
Multimedia: speakers are of veri poor quality. sounds like coming from torn off speakers.
there is no FM
Usability: there is no physical keypad so making calls is really tough. imagine if u are driving and u wanna make qucik call. u pull out phone from case. then dial number from touch screen keypad. not good idea.
Build : phone build looks solid, overall phone design looks good and durable.
Battery backup : worst I ever seen. u use wifi for few hours and battery is gone ! after 7-8 hours of normal usage battery is totally drained out.
Resale value: this was a major shock !. I bought this phone for 15900/- and within 24 hrs I went to subhisha to change to SE K790i and he refused to change. then he said he can take it as used set.
and he evaluated it to 9500/- about 40% less within 24 hrs.
I asked same exchange offer at hotspot. They to said they cant give more than 10, 000/-
It was a shock ! Then I sold this phone to my friend for 1000/- less and bought SE W810i.
and I am veri happy with W810i
