I read this novel before three days(in one sitting) and I am still thinking about it. I dont know ravin or khushi but I am feeling so sad for them. Its not a masterpiece or a great literary work..the author is not here to impress with lofty words or mind boggling climax, he is here to express, something which is so personal to him and something with which everyone can relate. Its a simple and honest story, beautifully narrated which can make a person smile and cry.its the celebration of a new found love(not lust) and mourning of its loss.
The world is beautiful when you see and share it with someone you love. Ravins love is so palpable and innocent that you can feel it, as if he is someone you know. And when it is snatched, you grieve with him, curse the tryst of destiny and fervently wish that nothing like this should ever happen to you or anyone. This book doesnt consume much, its a fast read. But it will certainly touch you like no other has touched you and make you think of it over and again.
If you loved "love story", you would certainly love "i too had a love story".
