That I have purchased one Mobile Handset( iball Aura v36 M_ IMEI S/N 911120150068009 S_ IMEI 911120150068017) from https://infibeam.com online shopping site in the month of December 2012( Invoice date 04-12-2012) and the Handset is covered under one year manufactures warranty.
My Handset, after using it for about 2? 3 months shown some signal loss/network problems and same was initially discussed with the Customer Support Team of M/s Iball through their live web chat, wherein I was advised to visit their local Service Center namely M/s Embassy Engineers, Karanagar, Srinagar( J& K) and accordingly, the problem was fixed by the Service Centre.
However, after some time I was walking down to my Home and it was raining and upon reaching my Home I first checked my phone and found it working properly. Next day morning I could not heard the alarm and when I woke-up, I find that my Handset is switched-off and I tried to charge it but there was no response. Immediately I submitted my Handset at above local service centre of the M/s iBall and explained them the whole situation.
They after a prolonged period( about 2 months) informed me that there is some damage in the main board due to rain and therefore repairs can be carried against cash payment. I tried to convey them that my phone is still under active warranty and to my utter surprize they denied to accept the warranty cover, declared it? Physical damage? and distanced themselves from any trouble.
Finally I again contacted customer support team of M/s iBall through their live web chat on 1st July 2013 who assured me of best possible solution and asked for submitting my Handset again to the local authorized service center. Acting on their advice, I now again submitted my Handset at above local service center( M/s Embassy Engineers, Karanagar, Srinagar) on 03-07-2013 and then again informed the Customer Support of M/s iBall about it and requested them to kindly instruct the concerned Service Center to carry out the requisite repairs in my Handset under Warranty provisions.
Subsequently, I received an email from one Mr. Jagdish of M/s iBall on 04-07-2013, apologizing for the inconvenience and informed me that the repairs will be carried on priority basis. However, so far as on today the 22nd of October, 2013 nothing has been done and my Handset is lying at local Service Centers for want requisite spares as stated by them. In-spite of the fact that I have taken-up my complaint regularly with M/s iBall customer care and even I have also send emails to their customer care email id nothing has been done, except that I have received 2-3 phone calls from Mr. Jahdish of M/s iBall assuring me that repairs will be done on priority.
More recently, I have received another email from him on 28-09-2013 now stating that we are looking into the issue and the repairs will be carried out on priority basis. However, the fact is that My Handset is lying with them for now about 6 months and even the warranty period of one year is also likely to end in December, 2013. There appears no coordination between the local service center & the company as they are just passing the buck and blaming each other for delay and the resultant outcome is my suffering.
I therefore, request to kindly intervene so that either my Handset is repaired under warranty as promised by the Company and personally by Mr. Jagdish or the cost of my Handset along with suitable penalty of Rs. 10, 000/- be paid to me to compensate my sufferings.
