I regret my decision to buy this. My perspective of entry level laptops changed after I got to use this for over a year. I had to wrestle with a lot of problems which came with this device.
I knew this is an entry level budget laptop so I did not expect it to run heavy apps or games. But the fact that it struggles to run simple MS office was a shocking matter. It had the latest MS Office pre installed and it ran so slow that I had to uninstall that and install an older version of MS office to compensate. But even so it still lagged, specially incase of Excel sheets. One would think having an Intel processor with 4 gigs of RAM would do basic things smoothly, but this device proves that notion wrong.
One of the biggest problem of this laptop is the extremely low C drive which has a measly amount of 32GB of space. I can barely install any app on it. Thanks to the small storage I am unable to use the Edge browser or any other mainstream browser that by default installs it self in C drive; cause once we start surfing the internet the browser starts to download cache-cookies etc and they are stored in C drive. So at one point storage space gets all used up and the laptop doesnt respond. So Im forced to use a NOT so mainstream browser which can be installed in the SD card slot used as D drive.
Also having a genuine Windows is more of a curse than a blessing because it keeps downloading heavy updates and the small space in C drive is filled in no time. I have to factory reset the device every time when storage is full.
Cant even bother with the internal speaker, its so low and bad that at first I thought it was dead. You cant hear anything on it. So carrying a headphone is mandatory to be able hear any media on this device.
And heres the icing on the cake, The Up and Right Navigation keys went dead just after the warranty period expires. Now I have to use external keyboard to address the issue.
Dont waste money on entry level laptops, add a few more extra money and go for better ones or even a desktop for the matter.
