I just love my think pad. I am using it since last 6 months. so during that period I didn’t face any problem. even its very easy to carry and at th same time easy to use.
One more things which make it different ..you don’t need any usb light ..because it has its own night light which is very useful.
Regarding prices it is little costly but still I would suggest to buy it ...because when you will work with think pad you will be very comfortable to do your work....you can put it on your lap :-)
otherwise else laptops you can’t carry for much time....you will have to put it on table.. I am a sales person so I need to travel many of the time so it gives me comfort in case o battry also..so we can do our work during travel also...because sometime people buy some cheap laptops and they are not able to use it as a laptop..what it is.
