IBM thinkpad R60 is a cool laptop.Brand is really good and it lives up to its expectations . It has got centrino duo processor which is really fast . 512 MB RAM and FSB is fast too. It boots up in less than a minute.
i have tried hp compaq and dell laptops and felt this to be the fastest .
Its a no nonsense laptop quite rugged and has got shock mounted harddisks for data protection
15 wide screen monitor is cool esp if u want to watch videos.
ergonomically designed keypad is great .
a little pricey that is a con I have to report .
but very reliable and powerful .
Battery goes to powersaver mode even if you forget to shut down.
Altec Lansing speakers are very good sound quality.
it has got S video port , 3 usb ports , w/a/g .
hard disk capacity is adequate 40 GB .
metal hinges prevent the damage at keyboard -screen interface.
and the jet black colour is sexy--at least for me .
