Saturday a day when I watch all the new movies. But yesterday after not getting any new movie I managed to read a book which my brother had got for my mom to read from a library.
I didn’t want to read it for first as after I had read the books like Brick lane and Born confused as I had miserable experiences reading them. but still I just thought to give it a try for last time.
I know it’s too late to write about this book(but I remember a saying der aaye durust aaye), I know there would be loads of people who would have suffered and would have overcome all there pains till now and maybe must have thought that this experience was the baddest dream they ever dreamt.
I was an almost a kid studying in Year 8 or 9 in a boarding school where I literally didn’t know what exactly went on with the flight in year 99 heard a bit of it but never the less got lost in my own busy schedule.
How I felt?
But today after reading this book made me feel really sad at certain times especially after the hijackers had stabbed Rupin katyal 22 – 25 times, and only questions which came in my mind were
How could they stab him when they knew how it feels like loosing a family member or how does it feel when one of the family member gets attacked by strangers.
As in the book I still remember one of the hijackers had said that the government people had done something to his sister’s in Kashmir and he wasn’t happy about it.
Although the hijackers in the book were shown to be really friendly but till they were hurting people for no reason.
People in the plane had suffered continuously. The way they were treated, how they felt god… the book is descriptive in every way. The book makes you feel like you are in the plane and everything is happening in front of you. After reading this book I would just say the book is different, descriptive intelligence could be sensed in the book itself.
How was the book?
The book was really planned and organised, it clarified everything happening on board at certain area then it would just get something’s which were happening among our ministers and then the book would work out itself in present manner saying what they exactly had in there mind how actually they felt when everything was happening and how everyone tackled the different situations.
What made me feel angry on Indian government?
The government was announcing all there plans on the air, in front of whole of the world and what they wanted the hijackers to do, put cotton in their ears and say they didn’t hear anything huh!!
What was the book like for you?
To be honest the book had 17 pages printed again and 17 pages were missing, so the second chapter was bit shortened for me but still I think I came to know through websites what had actually happened.
Do you think everyone should read this book?
Off course, I think if anyone has time they should grab this book immediately if they haven’t read it yet , its for all those who actually are eager to know what was the reason behind hijacking? Who actually had let the hijackers in the plane? Why did only Rupin Katyal suffered more than anyone? Well there are loads of questions to be clarified and if you have some of them in your mind go grab this book which will tell u everything, in detail.
