I am a holder of a savings account since time immemorial.
I have been regularly depositing cheques( 2-3 per week) at the Mohd Ali Road branch at Mumbai.
Since last so many months, I have been asking for deposit slip books and they offer me just 1-2 leaves which is highly inconvenient to me.
I sincerely do not understand the reason behind such a rationing. I have been told that this is a similar problem in other branches too. I regret to say that I would henceforth be depositing the cheques at HDFC bank. I’m sure they will realise who the loser is.
